The Latest Machine Hardware
Maze of Machines introduces a mysterious catalog of destructive DARK Machine monsters, featuring reimagined versions of familiar mechanical threats and powerful new support cards.
These new monsters focus on destruction, Special Summoning, Graveyard interactions, and strategic combinations that reward players for building around DARK Machine effects.
Rampant Barrel Dragon
Rampant Barrel Dragon is a Level 8 DARK Machine Fusion Monster with 3000 ATK and 2200 DEF, continuing the iconic Barrel Dragon tradition of coin-flipping effects.
Its Quick Effect flips three coins, activating powerful abilities depending on the number of heads. These effects can search cards, destroy opposing cards, and even place cards from the opponent's Graveyard onto your side of the field.
Pendulum Machine of Misery
Pendulum Machine of Misery is a Level 6 DARK Machine monster that supports destruction-based strategies.
When a card is destroyed by a DARK Machine monster, Pendulum Machine of Misery can Special Summon itself from the hand. Its additional effects allow it to destroy opposing monsters when Special Summoned and Special Summon DARK Machine monsters from the Deck when destroyed.
Slot Machine 777
Slot Machine 777 introduces new support for the classic Slot Machine theme.
This Level 7 DARK Machine monster can Special Summon itself by destroying a card you control and provides access to Heavy Metal Spell cards. Its effects also offer protection against destruction and permanent ATK or DEF increases.
Heavy Metal – New Spell and Trap Support
Maze of Machines expands DARK Machine strategies with new Heavy Metal Spell and Trap cards designed to support monster destruction, resource recovery, and battlefield control.
Heavy Metal Revenge
Heavy Metal Revenge is a Continuous Trap that can revive monsters from either player's Graveyard, provided they were destroyed by the effect of a DARK Machine monster.
The card also provides additional utility by allowing players to Set a Heavy Metal Spell or Trap directly from the Deck when Heavy Metal Revenge is sent to the Graveyard.
Heavy Metal Bandit
Heavy Metal Bandit is a Continuous Spell that protects DARK Machine monsters from being targeted or destroyed by opposing Spell effects.
It also provides access to DARK Machine monsters with 2000 or more ATK or DEF and introduces additional interactions involving cards placed at the bottom of the Deck.
Ticking Blast Sphere
Ticking Blast Sphere brings additional removal potential to DARK Machine strategies.
When Special Summoned, it can equip itself to an Effect Monster and destroy that monster when a monster effect is activated, inflicting damage based on the destroyed monster's original ATK.
When destroyed, Ticking Blast Sphere can also Set a Heavy Metal Trap from the Deck, creating further opportunities for strategic combinations.
New Cards for Cubic, Marincess, and Ghostrick
Three established Yu-Gi-Oh! themes receive new support in Maze of Machines, providing additional deck-building opportunities for both returning and experienced players.
Cubic receives further reinforcements in celebration of the 10th anniversary of Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions.
Marincess returns with new cards designed to expand the underwater strategy and provide additional options for existing decks.
Ghostrick also receives new support, bringing fresh possibilities to the popular Halloween-inspired theme.
These additions offer retailers opportunities to engage players who already own cards from these established archetypes while introducing returning Duelists to updated strategies.
New Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Cards
Maze of Machines includes 10 new cards from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, coinciding with the release of Yu-Gi-Oh! TAG FORCE GX.
Among the featured cards is Elemental HERO Clay Guardsman, a monster used by Jaden Yuki during his duel against Aster Phoenix.
The set also features a new variant artwork of Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder, available exclusively as a Starlight Rare.
These additions combine nostalgic appeal with premium collector interest, particularly among fans of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime and established HERO strategies.
Extended Art Cards
Maze of Machines continues the introduction of premium Extended Art card treatments.
The set features Extended Art versions of 7 existing cards, including the iconic Summoned Skull, which receives brand-new artwork.
These special card treatments provide additional collecting opportunities and appeal to Duelists interested in alternative artwork and premium versions of classic monsters.
